Benna Deney
This is Benna's third year at Gan Shalom. She is the Lead teacher in one of our Toddler rooms. I can not tell you how lucky we are to have her. She is wonderful with the children and makes them each feel special. She is very helpful with the other teachers and has proved to be a huge asset to Gan Shalom.
Favorite Children’s book:
All classics- Han Christian Andersen, Brothers Grimm, Astrid Lindgren and many more...
Favorite food: Chinese and home baked food.
Tell us a little about your
background:
I am from Bulgaria- a little country in Eastern Europe. I came here with my family in 1999. My husband Will works from home (he doesn't like to be called a "stay at home dad"), I have two beautiful teenage daughters, Joana and Olivia. Since I was a little girl, I had dreams of being a teacher when I grew up. I will never look back and regret that decision!
What do you do in your free time
and for fun? How about bungee jumping?
What free time?! For the last three years I have been a full time mom, wife, worker and a part-time student in college. However, I enjoy going on short or long trips with my family to see and learn many interesting things.
What would you like others to
know about the kids at Gan Shalom?
These are the most beautiful (in many ways), smart, and well educated children. Gan Shalom is a place where everyone is happy to work and every child is lucky to be!
