Tabitha Choquette

We are thrilled to have Tabitha with us as an afternoon assistant teacher in the Toddler Room. Tabitha is a very warm and caring person, her influence on the children has been wonderful. She is very excited to come to school each day to be with the children, we often find her on the floor playing and laughing with the children.

Tell us a little about your background:

I just finished my junior year at UK studing secondary education. I was raised in Naperville, IL. a suburb just outside of Chicago. I have two sisters, one older who lives in Ohio and one younger who attends Indiana University. My family is very important to me. I have two dogs that I love very much!.

What do you do in your free time and for fun? How about bungee jumping?

My free time mostly consists of studing and spending time with my sorority sisters. I love being outside, whether it's summer or winter. I also like traveling to the midwest to visit my family when I can.

What would you like others to know about the kids at Gan Shalom?

These kids mean the world to me and to all the other teachers. No matter what your mood is when you come to work, they will make you smile and forget any problems you may have. Working with these children is honestly one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever had.
